About Manoli guitars

Manoli Guitars was founded on a simple idea: build instruments that feel alive in the player’s hands.

 

After years of designing and building custom furniture, I developed a deep respect for hardwoods—their structure, their character, and the way they respond under hand tools. Hand-selecting lumber for fine furniture sharpened my eye for grain, weight, and balance. Over time, I began to notice how those same qualities could translate into something even more dynamic: a musical instrument.

 

I’ve been playing guitar for over 28 years. What began as a lifelong passion gradually became a pursuit of building the kind of instrument I always wanted to play.

 

Each Manoli guitar is built one at a time in my workshop, with the same discipline and attention to detail that fine furniture demands. Clean joinery. Balanced weight. Thoughtful construction. No shortcuts.

 

These instruments are designed for players who value tone, feel, and craftsmanship — guitars meant to be played hard, played long, and kept for life.
